Re: Dorico for iPad
Yes, there are several 'Easter eggs' in the form of new features that can only be accessed if you setup keyboard shortcuts for them. This included "Music transformation tools", which the latest release notes say have been removed, and will be restored when D4 is released. Also, a personal ...

Re: PDF printing oddity with hard space
So your PDFs sent to the printer looked fine, but the actual print ended up with the problem? Rinsing through PostScript still fixes many problems, as it has fewer parameters and options ...

Re: Finale fonts available for download
The SMuFL spec includes piano braces, and so they are in Bravura and yes in Finale Maestro. But Finale app still draws them.
The iPad is limited to Bravura, Academico and the OS-installed fonts, due a to limitations in how fonts work on iPad.

Re: Finale fonts available for download
Thank, John. The piano brace in Dorico will be the one(s) that are in the Finale Maestro font. As said, you could change them for those in another font, or for a specially-designed graphic, using the Music Symbols Editor. There are three or four different sizes of bracket that are used for different...

Re: Finale fonts available for download
I did read somewhere that the Maestro glyphs in the new font have been revised and improved where necessary. I'm sure it's nothing that will affect metrics, but hopefully just smoothing out contours and intersections.

Daniel responded on the forum about previous denials, saying "I may have been lying". There's a very interesting blog post about the development back story on the Dorico Blog: https://blog.dorico.com/2021/07/how-dorico-came-to-the-ipad-the-behind-the-scenes-story/ The timing of Sibel...
