Re: Type 1 Postscript fonts now obsolete

Glancing at a random OCTOwah.otf posted in 2015, it looks like the format should be fine. It's an OpenType font with CFF/PostScript outlines. Being more pedantic, the outlines are cubic Bézier curves (TrueType outlines are quadratic Bézier curves); an OpenType font can also include those types of ou...

Re: Dorico/Lilypond/SCORE?

The NoteAbility Pro developer is my thesis supervisor :) He is actually at least partially switching to Dorico for his own work, but is continuing NAP development due to the existing user base that relies on it. Re: SMuFL creation

…Dorico mostly only cares about the engraving defaults and bounding box sections,… The optional glyphBBoxes bounding box section is primarily to provide data for Finale, per the footnote here: http://w3c.github.io/smufl/gitbook/specification/glyphbboxes.html#fn_13 I would expect that Dorico would n...

Re: Dorico

Great to hear that SMuFL seems to be working as expected in Dorico. I haven't been able to locate where the Bravura metadata file (and in turn, metadata for other fonts) is supposed to be stored, though. Perhaps you could enlighten me? On Windows, the location is C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Dorico\f...
