Re: Finale: Not dead, just resting

Nicely put, Ben, really.
I wonder whether Philip Rothman would be interested in publishing this on Scoringnotes. Then again, it’s perhaps a little too provocative (or rather, honest?).

Re: Metrico: Font for metric equations

Thanks for spreading the word, Ben! I only saw this thread now.

Re: The Pointing Hand

Of course! ;)
I suppose you could even replace one of the boring common repeat markers with this one. Oh, and apply a nice color to it!

Re: More Dorico updates!

If Affinity Designer does what AI does, than it is really a great price. Re: More Dorico updates!

However, it wasn't clear to me from the review that it is possible to notate several alternate fingerings above the notes separated by lines. In some cases, three or four sets of fingering might need to be stacked. Fingering is also placed both above and below the notes and within the staff lines. ...

Re: More Dorico updates!

Yes, I agree with Ben. Notating the first page in Dorico would be a piece of cake, a matter of minutes. The second page would be fiddly, to be honest. I’m not sure if it can be done without faking the barlines. Once there is support for different simultaneous tempos, this too will be a piece of cake...
