Old thread, but came across a book claimed to be written by Giuseppe Tartini, edited by Decio Agostino Trento; found a peculiar treble clef and thought of this board, so here 'tis:

Keep these up and, John, you could present a culmination of observations in a booklet and maybe put it on the market. At any rate, if you did do such a thing, don't forget that standard Unicode text provides the characters: ♯, ♭, ♮, 𝄫, 𝄪. The smilies are a nice feature for the boards, but if you're ...
