Thanks, John, for your thoughtful comments. I'll probably just leave the notation as is. I want it to be clean and uncomplicated.

Place in score of drum set staff

I'm adding a drum set staff to a concert band score. Where should I place the staff? I'm guessing the staff should go above the snare drum/bass drum staff.

If I understand correctly, you are interested in submitting your unpublished scores (and recordings) to music sheet publishers?
Yes. Most of my publishers want live performances.
