Re: Augmentation dots

I would move the two top dots do the left, vertically aligned with LH dots, but I would keep the ties starting after the dots for all internal notes.
There is too much a risk for collision.

Re: Dorico slurs and beams

4) Once you have decided on all of the above, then it's time to play with beam angles. As everything is interrelated, I really wouldn't recommend adjusting the angles until after you have all of the above settings as you like them. If you're unhappy with the results, and go back and change one of t...

Re: OT: Text formatting in Preface

It seems in German uses Italic for poem titles in a collection and puts tempo marks as Roman but between quotes.
I honestly feel less bad now for creating my own conventions...

OT: Text formatting in Preface

When compiling the Preface of an edition, is there a global convention for mentioning the title of a lied's poem and the tempo text of a piece of music? Re: Spacing problem

As John said, it is not too bad to begin with.
If this is a full score, and it is a vocal score, why not have the other staves smaller in general?
Or even just reduce the ones to, say, 95%, and it should prove to be much better already.

Re: Numbering instruments on shared staves

In this case I would only show the Flute 1 uncondensed staff and hide the Flute 2 one. If this is not of your liking, I would add "1°" over the first system and then the same parenthesised at each new page (or left-hand page, if you're sure it will be printed). Another solution is to have ...

Re: Page size order conventions

I guess it depends from the context. If you're looking into an encyclopedia or phone book, of course it will be last+first name.
On a book's cover, it is first+last name.
So... yes, it depends :-D

Re: Page size order conventions

I don't get it, both Calogero and Salvatore can be first names.
Did you want to say that we present first and last name in a non-common order?
