@Fred, that’s correct. Only the USB dongle will allow you to use Dorico on multiple machines.

It’s a great sans serif (Frutiger Next, for the interested), just a terrible mix, like you said. If it were only used on the prefacing material, it might be forgivable, but not a great choice in the music context alongside traditional Times for metronome marks and lyrics.

Thanks for the kind words. Hercules Text is indeed a very beautiful font. Unfortunately, in most cases it is probably not dark enough to fit in well with newer music fonts that represent more faithfully the darker look of hand-engraved scores. As a temporary solution it is possible to give the font...

Yes, very well done, liuscorne! What a great find in a text font. I will definitely need to add it to my collection and find a good use for it.

One thing to remember is that although the above examples could very well be true slab-serif designs, I'm inclined to think that the "slab" is actually a printing artifact, where ink is spreading farther than it's supposed to. Hard to tell in this case, but it's a possibility. My 2 cents.
