I have trouble with placement of the accent. In Finale by default it is placed outside of the staff. There are many recommendations for that. Do you find this one visually correct and appealing?

I can consult Behind Bars, but I want to eventually get more information from your experience. In Finale, the default tempo alterations (rit. accel. a tempo...) are TNR italic 12 pt. I see. Maybe the sfz should just be placed under the main note.
And this is the default Finale output. Definitely some kind of editing is needed there, I am not sure which one, perhaps to compress everything to the left. This one looks surprisingly inconsistent, almost that they don't play together.

Should grace notes be aligned? Particularly it is visible if a dynamic symbol is attached.

Anyone has this book?
