While I agree that the modem Henle output is decidedly inferior to their previous work, it is also miles ahead of almost every other publisher with the possible exception of Wiener Urtext. I agree with OCTO - the standard version looks great, but the light version is much too thin and looks unbalanced on the page.

The International Music Company editions of Fauré, Duparc, etc. mélodies provide a small ambitus below the header and above the first stave of music, which I think is less obtrusive for "individual" compositions or those not in a choral context.

I've used this typeface in the past and honestly cannot attest to ever having issues with "readability" with the symbols that you pointed out.

Your choice of font size is excellent, David, and makes the music instantly readable from a decent distance. I like it much more than the smaller "style" in vogue today. Evidently many of these engravers have never collaborated with "working" singers who need to read plenty of re...

Absolutely wonderful (as with pretty much all of Abraham's work) The "balance" is impeccable. Really very hard to take issue with any of the engraving as shown.
