Re: Dorico slurs and beams
Using the new Library Manager, it should be easy enough to import these into any project file without affecting any other settings. Thanks for posting! I stole your hyphen settings. I guess my default differs a bit from the factory settings    https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5187...

"Fred", don't you love the white on black? It's so easy on the eyes. Not. I actually do like "dark mode" and use it on most of my devices/apps. I've been wearing progressives though for a few years now and just recently got my first pair of music eyeglasses. My eye doc cal...

Re: Dorico slurs and beams
Those are pretty close. I haven't tweaked these in a while, but my current default has a few settings different. I can't remember when or why I changed them though.

Re: Dorico slurs and beams
Does the situation improve if you apply your special slur settings to the flat slurs? Unfortunately it's just the design of the flat slurs. I think Dorico is simply combining two shapes together to create this, but each individual shape is thickest in the middle. In the SCORE flat slur, it is thick...

Re: Dorico slurs and beams
You can get pretty close by simply tweaking the settings. Here are my default unedited ties and slurs: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51871301634_af182b0be3_c.jpg The slur has more height as obviously it will usually have more items to clear, but I could make them almost identical if I wanted, ...

Re: Tertiary beams: a case for widening/thickening?
I've decreased the length of the stub (down from the factory length of 1 and 5/24th spaces(!) to 7/8) They are "supposed" to be the width of a notehead, right? Gould https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51870635171_9441d20ef8_z.jpg Ross https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51871283820_ceba0...

Re: Let's talk Manuscript Paper, Pens and other copying materials
In the 70's and until the early 90's, I used a Pelikan fountain pen, and electric eraser, Aztec transparency paper and a few other minor accoutrements to notate my scores by hand, I still have my Pelikan Graphos, some Z1 nibs and some Aztec ink, although I haven't touched any of this in years. http...
