Dorico 4.01 released

In Daniel's blog (link below), he states that a second 'small' update is expected before the end of February, before a 'large' 4.1 release later in the year. A upda...

Re: The music engraver of Würzburg | The last of his class
I'd love to get a set of engraving tools. I suspect many have just been thrown away.

Re: Dorico 4 announcement on Wednesday?
It's fair to say that Dorico can effectively deal with only a subset of all Common Notation, and if your needs are outside that set, then things are going to require 'workarounds' (dread word!) or even be impossible. Re: Dorico 4 announcement on Wednesday?
And here we go! There's a bunch of videos on the Dorico YouTube channel already. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoyaeouPUsdtadsUSGhK4V7Ghkst92MOs Most visibly obvious are the changes to Piano Roll, MIDI editor, Mixer and Play mode; The new piano keyboard (or fretboard, or drum kit) makes not...

Re: Enhanced tacet
Given that it is on a reduced size staff, it's essentially a kind of Cue. It's a nice idea.

Dorico 4 announcement on Wednesday?
Dorico's YouTube channel has a Live Event of "Big News" scheduled for Wednesday at 1400 GMT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2_ij8vYk-s Daniel has previously said that Dorico 4 would be released 'early' in 2022, slipped from December, so that's where the smart money is. Other comments hav...
