Re: Clef design comparision
Ah. Interesting, as I generally find Bravura a bit heavy on the page.

Re: Clef design comparision
Knut, can you list the fonts in the original post of this thread?

Re: NCS
New Century Schoolbook works fine for me, as do all my PostScript, TT and OTF fonts. However, there is a problem in El Cap with third-party font managers (Suitcase, FontExplorerX) activating Type 1 PS fonts if they reside outside the user domain. Re: Font SEBASTIANO
If you look at the Sebastiano page, it starts by saying it's a development of an existing open-source font on github. There's a link thee.

Re: Fonts for Dynamic
Here's a sample of the p.
I've found the m in Maestro. Weirdly, the TrueType and PostScript versions have them in different places.

Re: Fonts for Dynamic
My dislike is for the diagonal ligature stroke that runs the full distance of the x-height. It's confusing as it mimics the similar lines made by letterforms themselves. It may have been used traditionally, but I still don't like it! ;-) Sadly, Maestro doesn't seem to have an 'm' so you can spell ou...

Re: Clef design comparision
I much prefer the 'T'-shape Alto clef in Knut's Menuet example. There are also some K-shaped ones.

Fonts for Dynamic
I enclose a PDF of my thoughts on typefaces for dynamics. Let me know what you think. It shows a variety of music fonts, and my commentary on them, as well as text fonts that could be used as an alternative.
