Re: Muzitex - for music text
Thanks. Here is what is the problem: italic is not found, and roman is cut away. I get this on OS X: shot 3.png And he gets this on Win: font.jpg After I posted my last reply, I attempted to make another version, it seems working on Win now. About GSUB lookup tables: I have lost my sfd files, I will...

Re: Muzitex - for music text
Help needed again.
My copyist tells me that on his Windows machine my Muzitex font doesn't work at all. Can anyone help me to generate a proper variant for Windows?

Re: Fonts for Lyrics
IMO, a good way is to use one of Adobe Pro types which has a vast amount of same font variants. In this situation you can use only one font for all texts in one score thus keeping the balance.

Re: Fonts for Lyrics
The Psalm Book printed by Swedish Church uses Adobe Caslon Pro. I have been thinking about that typeface for a quite long time, but I have never used. It is really working well.
Minion is beautiful too, I think it is a bit to close to Times.

Re: OTF in Finale, and problems
I lost my patience. Simply, I cannot make any font working, either the problem is in Finale or in OS X... But I guess in Finale.

Re: OTF in Finale, and problems
Ok, I have discovered one important thing with Glyphs Mini, concerning Finale. Finale cannot see generated fonts if there are not separators: space, nbspace, CR, .notdef, .null I don't know if all need to be there, but at least I have got a test font that can be seen from Finale. I am quite disappoi...

Re: OTF in Finale, and problems
Ah that is bad, I wasted 45 €...
I might continue with FF, and find solution there.
To anyone using FF: if you have a sfd file that is generating fonts fully working with Finale, I would be more than happy if you could attach an empty template.

Re: OTF in Finale, and problems
Here are attached screenshots from FF, one that shows doubled symbols (example is selected "A"), and another is glyph's property.
Regarding Glyphs Mini: I have tried to find options, for instance encoding, but there are really nowhere that options. There is a demo version too.

Re: OTF in Finale, and problems
I see, Abraham.
I have opened Maestro.suit, that's what I have on my system. And there are duplicates, when I am back home I will post a picture.
Maybe I should use the postscript version? Is ps the same for OS X and Win?
