The thing that sticks out to me the most is the appearance of the relative size of the half notehead versus the quarter notehead. Inkscape 1.2 now has multi-page support. This allows you to import/export an entire PDF or a single page. It’s not perfect, but definitely a good and much needed step for the app.

I'm no expert, so this is just a guess, but could it be because the remainder of each measure is simply ties and nothing more? By comparison, there's no need to show the center of the measure for the dotted whole note in the first measure. Is this an appropriate exception?

Convex vs concave doesn't matter much to me. The group is *trending* downward, so I'd slant the beam downward, at least a little. Doesn't really matter what happens in the middle. Here's what my brain sees: beam-group-showing-trend.png This doesn't mean that I'd slope it that much, but *something*.
