The G clef from Score was probably the model.
Yes the break's done in LP (see the code: change the break size by changing the number in '\tweak whiteout #2)

Plate numbers

Are there any rules or standards for plate numbers?
Are they numbered according to a chronological order (e.g. is "EMT 1" the very first score published by EMT)?
