I usually use a vector graphics software in order to achieve what I can't in the notation software that I currently use. But not to notate complete music. That would be a daunting task. I know some people using Illustrator, but their music is more towards a graphical design, without worrying about ...

Bärenreiter no longer use SCORE for new publications but it looks like for most of their scores now they use a font (presumably Partita) to give the impression that they still are. yeah indeed .. and the G clef not too perfect also, and the zoom scrolling it still toooo fast .. :(

the newest one is craazy .. 3.6.0 beta is out, have new fonts SCORE alike .. but i don't like they did not change the text style into separate window

Hi odod, There is indeed a better solution without the need to fake the rythmic position. You'll need to add a new Notehead set with shorter stems in Engrave mode. -Select the Default Notehead set and select "new from selection" rename it to "shorter stems" or whatever (see the ...
