Hi,
I'm dealing with a lot of microtonal scores, and wish Finale could let me adjust the space between individual accidentals,
because of this for example:
I tried to adjust the font annotation to the specific symbol, but it didn't work/
any suggestions?

Re: Finale: fine-tuning Music spacing
well, in my settings I reduced it to only 2 EVPU.
why? just type 4 eight's with an accidental in one of them, you'll see that in not so much crowded score the spacing between them is changing because of the accidental.

I would write them as usual.
the deviation from the equal temperament is natural, and you can't choose an accidental.

Re: Colored sheet music
qanunji, I have noticed with pleasure that some of my Elbsound music fonts from last month have made it into your nice scores. Currently I am working on an update of the font package with 16 new composite symbols (tempo marks, grace notes, quarter-tone accidentals), so that the last missing symbols...

Re: Colored sheet music
The spacing in your later version is fine. Congratulations on a excellent first engraving job! I noticed a few slight inconsistencies in the vertical level of some of the ornaments in both. The first and second ending brackets should not be joined in Hamavdil. And there is an absence of slurs throu...

Re: Colored sheet music
Thank you guys for your informative answers. I'll try to talk to the publication out of it, if it wont, maybe we'll settle for dark blue on more ivorish paper . Regarding the score itself- The designer just picked an early draft. It was done in finale, and its my 1st profesional engraving project. I...

Colored sheet music
Hello,
Im in the process of producing a hymns book, and the book designer suggested printing it in blue ( draft attached) to match the text color.
By default Im against it, but Id like to hear other opinions from experts like you guys.
So, what do you think?
