I’d say:
- Pedale [sempre] tenuto fino alla fine del movimento
Or
- Pedale tenuto per tutto il movimento.
Not “al fine”. “Fine” is feminine nowadays so it’s “alla fine”. Once it was used in masculine too (until the XIX century), today “la fine” means “the end”, “il fine” means “the purpose”.

Thanks NeeraWM, I didn’t know of Primerate, I’ll check it as soon as I’ll have something to print.

Re: How to print a softcover with larger spine
What about simply 5 different volumes, 1 score and 4 parts, each with its own cover? You could then have a carton box containing all of them, if you want (not necessary).
This would be my preferred solution, again it’s a cost-related issue.
More I see it, less I like Henle’s solution.

Re: How to print a softcover with larger spine
I don’t fancy Henle solution as much. Is a two-volumes solution viable? The second volume could have the form of a closeable envelope which you put the separate parts in. This could prove to be too costly, hovever. Or you could try to simplify the second volume’s making, I could give you a couple id...

Re: Where is the best place to get sheet music perfect bound or saddle stitched?
This is great. Happen to know rates and overhead cost? I imagine I need to order 50 or so at a time. Here are my data: format: 24 cm x 32 cm (9.45in x 12,6in) binding: saddle stitch Cover: 240 g/sqm (designed by me) paper: 100 g/sqm pages: 80 2 copies. I payed 57 euros with shipping (Germany to Ita...

Re: Where is the best place to get sheet music perfect bound or saddle stitched?
I got outstanding results by Halstan, exactly two years ago: https://www.halstan.de/ You can choose the paper, the binding and so on. Great black print. They are the external facility publishers as Baerenreiter and Henle use for printing their editions. I am not sure if they still provide such servi...

Re: An interesting centered beam in op. 81a
A brilliant hypothesis, John. Only today I’ve learned Beethoven demanded for the first edition of his ninth symphony a strange lyrics alignment. Not “sanft” under one note as we would today, but “sa…” under the note and “nft” under the following, along with its proper syllable. There is a letter of ...

Re: Progressive correction in op. 54
Concerning analysis. Suppose I could produce a convincing analysis that shows that the famous A sharp in op. 106 must be an error. What would be a corresponding example in textual criticism? And could such an analysis made entirely by internal evidence and without reference to outside sources? Firs...

Re: Progressive correction in op. 54
This can only be true for truly great pieces of music, no? I mean, music with a very high degree of consistency, and from an era when the music was not mainly occasional. In the romantic era, yes. In the baroque era, less so. Bach himself did change melodic shapes to comply with keyboard extension, ...
