Re: [Dorico] Flat slurs
Slurs example with Igor For me it doesn't look like a flat slur, the first example. Another examples look like two stapled slurs/lines. Right? Can you make a totally flat slur in Igor or Graphire? I mean, using just one slur. AFAIK, it is only Dorico and SCORE that have this ability. LilyPond has a...

Re: [Dorico] Flat slurs
i took the chance with Dorico, it maybe not perfect but it is easier than in Sibelius .. different workflow is killing me Also in Igor , (like in Dorico Workflows), >not exist! Everything is directly on one Page, everything is stright on page, just go to object , click directly on object and functi...

Re: [Dorico] Flat slurs
i was surprised that Igor had this options ages ago ... what do you think Igor VS Graphire ? I like both. You can add "nested slurs" and some "extension" lines and vice versa, you got slurs with minimum tweak just like in my short examples. In Dorico.....in Dor..... ... p...

Re: Problems with posting and reply
Now I am noticing something quite strange. If I bring up notat.io, at first, I am not logged in. But if I select any category on the home page, go to that page, then go back to the Home page, I am logged in! So that is an improvement. I don't have to log in each time. The same situation... Login on...

Re: Key signature and staff size
man, graphire is so beautiful .. i remember the sample files are showing some nice graphical score, is it possible to do it inside the software or you need 3rd party such as illustrator etc ? If you have a lot of subsequent changes in the bars, forget about it! So, when you're done and you have all...

Re: Key signature and staff size
[...] I'd be surprised if Dorico and Finale -- or even Score and Graphire -- would do differently... ;) I meant if they'd do differently by default ... ;) However, thank you Den for showing us that Graphire is -- was? -- a very, very powerful and fine tool. Hi Schneider, In Graphire Music Press, &q...

Re: Ties after system break
To illustrate my point further, here's an example from Henle's edition of Beethoven sonatas (engraved by hand): Henle Beethoven Ties.png And here's Finale's default (and ugly) version of the same: Finale Beethoven Ties.PNG This is my short attempt. The first explanation Henle Beethoven Ties 1.png a...

Re: Notation program...
But, going back to the initial question: I would have a notation software based on a quantum AI that makes my handwritten scores look like Bärenreiter/Henle-kind. So far, I pay humans for that! Ohh yesss, gooood idea! Actually, I never do that. I never install software just for testing, it is not m...
