OCTO, 3/4 is a simple time and yet there no half rests allowed.

Peter, yes, it was the consistency with 6/8 that I was afraid of. Even though it is the consistency of all of these meters with 3/4 that should be the real consideration. (Of course, this consistency leads directly to Arnstein.) I think that this mass of inconsistency will eventually lead to half rests in 3/4. Then everything will be truly consistent. No comment.
