Metrico: Font for metric equations

Post by benwiggy »

Florian has done it again, with another essential font, called Metrico. This one creates Metric Equations effortlessly.

Thanks for spreading the word, Ben! I only saw this thread now.
And thanks again, Abraham!

It basically works, I’m working on expanding the functionality. I hope it’l be useful!

Hello to everyone!
I've been using Metrico font in Dorico 3 and it's great, but is there any trick to use it in MS Word?
I mean, I can't beam eights or create tuplets.
Thx!

I think it is called Bravura Text, if I am not mistaken. Try that.

@OCTO, no, there is a font called Metrico, created for the purpose of creating metronome marks and other metric equations.

@Giangi, you may need to manually turn on ligatures and such in the font options in Word.

@tisimst thanks for replying! I tried to change ligatures options, but it doesn't chance anything. The main problem I've been having, is the use of metrico in word processing software such as MS Word. If I type two eighths or sexteenths, there's no beam.
