When I first saw this last month I soon dismissed it as not very interesting to me because of the linear rhythmic spacing in the first examples of the documentation. But now that odod leaves a comment and I look at it again, I notice a copying technique I have not seen before: empty bars shown as bar-rests on a 1-line staff. Much clearer and easier to follow than the usual cutout score where empty bars are simply white space.

This is interesting to me, not so much as notation, but for the vague analogy it seems to make to the meaning of ‘abjad’ which is a script that normally writes only consonants and may optionally indicate vowels with diacritical marks (such as Hebrew and Arabic).

Yes, indeed MJCube.
I did the same. Interesting observation about the empty bars! I might try use this in my scores to see how it works.
BTW; have you noticed the stem lengths, seem to be longer than octave.

Whoever made this score must be proud of - please send this to Boosey, Peters (etc) for inspection.
