More Dorico updates!

Post by benwiggy »

A maintenance upgrade, Dorico 2.1.10, has been released today. The Steinberg team have also stated that another major free update will be forthcoming later this year, with a host of new features.

I've actually lost count of how many Dorico updates that will be, in the time period since Finale 25.5's release.

And another one today, Dorico 2.1.20, which brings compatibility with Mojave.

Dorico 2.2 has just been released.
Scope and quality of this update are truly amazing. An in-depth review will be published later today on Scoring Notes.

It allows you to change the appearance of pretty much any symbol that Dorico uses in the score.

This is an awesome update, which complete clears the obstacles to my 'full' adoption of Dorico.

Automatic Flow Headers in the middle of pages; Auto Tacet instructions for Players not in the Flow; Da Capo repeats; and complete control over Brackets; plus MIDI Transcribing; and a whole heap of productivity enhancements.

And if there's something still lacking: I have every confidence that it will be dealt with.

John R - There's improvements to Fingering, which may be helpful.

I see, but in what way? Is it a semi-font/vector editor?
