Dorico 5.1.20 released

Post by benwiggy »

Another minor update, fixing "more than 30 bugs", and introducing a few new small capabilities, including better hairpin positioning; and spacing.

one of my biggest fixes came with this update:
aggregate time signatures.

I have a passage in 7/4 in my 2nd symphony, and needed to have dotted lines to divide each measure into 4/4 plus 3/4.
I could get the dotted line, but at the cost of no longer being able to have 7/4 as my time signature.

This is now fixed. As long as the aggregate time signatures share a denominator Dorico can now combine the time signatures! YAY

There is a 5.1.21 "hotfix" released today, which fixes one crash and a couple of minor UI glitches that crept into the .20 release.
