I lost my patience. Simply, I cannot make any font working, either the problem is in Finale or in OS X... But I guess in Finale.

I never heard this, at least in the Smufl-discussion list. What is the criticism? And what the alternative?

Finale and Sibelius hardcore users bash SMuFL because of it's "Re-inventing the wheel." I've read on the finale forums (the official ones) that people dedicated to their finale/sibelius do not want another font standard.

EDIT: The alternative is that we don't change anything and leave it as it is. I think their criticisms are baseless, and merely about their existing workflows and pendence towards what they've enjoyed doing and getting used to.
