Re: MuseScore 4 - engraving improvements

I could not wait for the release, I tried the alpha and beta, yes it's unstable but it has so many interesting features. And most of all it is FREE, one of the feature since beginning that I love is the select similar element on right click .. very handy

P.S: OKTO also contributed in the development

Re: Golden Age: SMuFL version

I've just published a v1.003 release: this has added some Finale-specific glyphs to reduce the number of missing glyphs in Finale's Articulation Manager. Particularly: trills with accidentals. You may be interested to know that Dorico uses combined glyphs for these; the SMuFL standard also suggests...

Re: MuseScore 3.6 - A Massive Engraving Overhaul!

What a review! Thank you so much Octo, i also think He released the font in a rush .. i agree that it has more 'loose" on the boldness
and the treble clef .. to me the original one has more balance to my eyes instead of Leland version.

Re: Musescore 3.5.0.13199

Yes, I never liked the mp ligature either and was a bit surprised to see it in Bravura. (Of course, mp is a bit of a nonsense dynamic anyway, as Berio used to say, but that's another matter) :) Yes, the "best" way to start a symphony is in mp . Actually, you don't need ligatures in pp or ff, if the...

Re: Scalable Vector Graphics (inkscape, illustrator)

I usually use a vector graphics software in order to achieve what I can't in the notation software that I currently use. But not to notate complete music. That would be a daunting task. I know some people using Illustrator, but their music is more towards a graphical design, without worrying about ...
