NOTATIO

The Save As Default button applies to all the Engraving Options. You can save defaults for Layout Options (score & parts), Notation Options, and all the other options (playback, Note input... etc!) Similarly, you can save changes to Paragraph Styles, Notehead Sets, Music Symbols, etc as defaults...

Here's a page from my great-grandfather's Maths book.

I keep the paper straight, perpendicular to the desk, and the line from my elbow to pen is straight down, and perpendicular to my body.
The pen rests on my third finger, while my first and thumb act like tweezers either side.

And indeed, a copy called (ironically) Coda Scores has just started advertising this service on Finale and Dorico forums.

I suspect lots of engravers are 'doing their research' at the moment...
