IMHO is preferable in this case text-boxes but still missing the possibility, for instance, to free drawing a line on the score

Using Expression means that almost every time you use the same symbol (ie: query mark...) but that you cannot put different annotations on what's going on on that music passage in the score... To stay with the ? metaphor it is almost a bookmark with no explicit explanation whereas I prefer (I need) ...

I was wondering if there is any script that convert a string of dynamics (mp, mf, mf, f, mf, mp...) into another string of dynamics (p, mp, mp, mf, p...) where the second string (the repetition) is one degree less in dynamics
