Cantorum: a new text-based chant font for Dorico

My new chant font is now available: https://www.scoringnotes.com/meta/canto ... or-dorico/

In short, it allows the user to easily input chant into Dorico using simple numbers and letters.

Feedback on new chant font

Hi friends, I'm getting close to releasing MusChant, a font that allows the user to input plainchant notation directly into Dorico. I would appreciate feedback from a typographic perspective: stroke weight, proportion, etc. I do know some of the articulations are colliding with the staff lines; I'm ...

Questions about chant

It seems some of these are different, unless I'm doing something wrong. pic2.png Should these all be the same? S...

Handing off Scorico.net

Hi folks, Long story short: I’m looking to pass Scorico.net to someone who will keep it going. It’s a good thing, and I think it has the potential to grow quite large, but I need to devote my time to other pursuits. I can no longer give it the attention it needs. If you’re interested, please contact...

Re: Scorico.net

1. It’s “name your price.” Tons of folks have downloaded resources, and only one person has paid.

2. It’s up to vendors to submit those resources. Scorico is just the means to make them available.

Scorico.net

I've launched a site, https://Scorico.net , dedicated to the sharing of Dorico-related resources... mostly scores, but other materials as well. We (the site admins) intend to vet the submissions for quality, although we aren't going to be fanatical about it. The hope is that every score on the site ...

If a person or organization "takes a hit," it means their reputation or status suffers. Sorry for the confusing idiom!
