Italic/oblique flat and sharp glyphs?

I’m starting a large collection of chord charts (lyrics and chord symbols) for a publisher, and we’re trying to establish a style guide that is practical, legible, and typographically beautiful. For my charts, I’ve always done bold lyrics with italic chord symbols above in Word, but now that it need...

Handing off Scorico.net

Hi folks, Long story short: I’m looking to pass Scorico.net to someone who will keep it going. It’s a good thing, and I think it has the potential to grow quite large, but I need to devote my time to other pursuits. I can no longer give it the attention it needs. If you’re interested, please contact...

Re: Scorico.net

1. It’s “name your price.” Tons of folks have downloaded resources, and only one person has paid.

2. It’s up to vendors to submit those resources. Scorico is just the means to make them available.

Scorico.net

I've launched a site, https://Scorico.net , dedicated to the sharing of Dorico-related resources... mostly scores, but other materials as well. We (the site admins) intend to vet the submissions for quality, although we aren't going to be fanatical about it. The hope is that every score on the site ...

If a person or organization "takes a hit," it means their reputation or status suffers. Sorry for the confusing idiom!

Heh. Well, I’m a bit to young for those days, but “take another hit” used to have a certain other meaning.

Re: Dorico 4 announcement on Wednesday?

It works fine. The larger the score, the more you will notice some lag. The team has worked to eliminate some of these “triggers,” though a large score like this would certainly experience some.

Multiple divisis are no problem! And custom playing technique glyphs are easy as well.

Re: Dorico 4 announcement on Wednesday?

If previous versions are any indication, I expect the incremental releases in the upcoming weeks and months will successfully tackle a lot of these unresolved issues.

Re: Dvorak Cello Concerto publication

From the previews available on the website, my very high respect for Henle's engraving practices got a strong hit. Besides, I am a cellist so that means I have my memory going through all other editions while looking at it. Just to clarify, you mean your respect for Henle editing took a hit in the ...
