You are assuming the excerpt is in C major. It is not, but rather is not in any key, therefore the clarinet KS is correct.

Re: Making the switch to Dorico?
I am making the switch, although some clients still prefer Sibelius or Finale. Just did a large job for National Symphony and used it for the Harp parts, which would have been a pain in either Finale or Sibelius but were easy in Dorico. Still not comfortable with note entry. Re: Binding of scores (loose sheets)
The problem with both these methods is that the music will not lay flat.
For large PDF scores I have used a three hole punch and then put the sheets in a 3 ring binder. However, if I was going to perform from this, I would most likely get it coil bound - it's not that expensive.

I was employed with a Mexican orchestra some years ago. I would say most definitely *not*. Many times we performed from illegal photocopies.

Re: Dorico Pro 2 released
When using the new divisi feature, Dorico cannot add sub-brackets to, say, a divided Violin 1 section. Daniel Spreadbury has acknowledged this to me (in a comment on the Scoring Notes blog).
This is one area where Finale outshines both Sibelius and Dorico.

Re: Dorico Pro 2 released
This really looks very good to me.
When Dorico allows for more flexibility with brackets and sub-brackets, it will also become my first choice.

Perhaps the OP meant critical vs. practical performing edition?
