I imagine that if the parts being read are PDF files it's easy enough to jut re-insert page 1 (and 2) if there's a da capo, so you'd just continue turning pages. in other words, page 4 would be a copy of page 1.

how do we feel about parentheses? should I use them in this context? or just the accidental? annoyingly, I've made a playback technique for the accidental, and removing the parentheses respaces things so that the little sharp symbol ends up immediately next to the :piano dynamic. I think in this case it would be a small articulation-like accidental, under the staff (since it's the down-stem voice that could cause an issue), at the stem end or below the notehead.
I'll look and see what the end result gives.

The thing that "worries" me a bit about Dorico's development team, is how often I read responses on their forums that basically say "this is what Gould says is the correct way to do it."
