Re: Tremolo beaming question
Update:
After re-reading Ted Ross p.125, I explored the Secondary Beam angle tool (in Finale) and respaced the beams. Do you reckon I've got it right?
With thanks,
Hector.

Tremolo beaming question
Hi all, If I get the primary beam to hang, straddle or sit appropriately, I encounter a problem with the secondary beams. And vice versa. From my reading on the subject, I understand I need to keep the top staff line clear. Any advice is welcome! Screen Shot 2023-02-28 at 2.44.06 pm.png PS: I'm usin...

Re: Angled fractional beam question
Thank you so much! I felt that the middle and sit options looked a little short stemmed to my eye. So, here is the "hanging angled fractional beam" moved up a little. Screen Shot 2023-02-23 at 2.17.42 pm.png In the example below, I allow the top left corner of the fractional beam to peep a...

Angled fractional beam question
Hi all,
I've got a wedge created by the angled fractional beam. What's the best solution / way to correct it? (I'm studying the UE manual and the Ted Ross but I'm still in search of a clue!)
Thanks for any advice!
Cheers,
Hector.

Re: Margins
Thanks benwiggy and swetom2011
Yes, Ben I meant to say "creep = 0.5 # in points". I will have another try at using it on Big Sur. I have it working on Mojave no prob.
Thanks swetom2011, I love exploring these alternatives to the big brand software. Many thanks!
cheerio,
Hector.

Re: Tie collisions
Here is my attempt so far: What do you think?! (I think they are an improvement on what I had!)
The bottom example is my attempt at equal tie lengths.
Cheerio and thanks for any extra advice!
