Tie collisions
Hi all, This piano chord uses bass clef for both hands, and the RH is all flats, left hand all naturals. Having said that, do you think it would be good notational practice to clean up the tie collisions? I would like to make the ties look their best if possible. screenshot-ties.jpg Thanks! Hector.

Re: Margins
Thanks, benwiggy! BTW, I am a fan of your booklet making python script. I tend to set creep to 0.5cm. I have a laptop which I maintain on an old OS so that I can still use your python script lol. I wish I could work out how to run your creation on Big Sur or Monterey!
Thanks again,
Hector.
Thanks again,
Hector.

Margins
Hi all, When formatting my scores, I like 1.5cm page margins on all 4 sides of my A4 page size. I find it interesting that my software (Finale) lets the piano brackets occupy space in the margin by default. I choose to move the system margins in so that the piano brackets keep inside the page margin...

Page counting
Hi all, Regarding a publication's page count for mention on an online store, should one count just the pages with music on them, or all pages including for example a blank final verso page (owing to multiples of 4 pages in booklet production)? Also, when counting the front matter pages (expressed in...

Re: Alignment with grace notes
Thanks again, Fred.
I print on laser at 1200 and I think I'm pretty happy with the above setting having tweaked them. I have noticed that thicknesses look slightly different while viewing a PDF, too, in Mac Preview compared to Adobe PDF Viewer. Adobe seems to show things very well.
Best,
Hector.
