Re: Attribution and Use of Sources
It's probably worth mentioning that a lot of libraries will have received some sort of government funding for digital scanning programmes, which will make public access a condition. (EU cultural funding, particularly.) We do live in an extraordinary age, where I can sit in my chair and browse throu...

Bravo.
Can you tell us how you created it, what software you used and so on. Would be great to hear from the first hand.

Re: Augmentation dots
Hello, just wondering if the augmentation dots in the upper staff are ok with the default Finale placement, or I should move them to the left, and extend the tie as well. What do you think? Felipe I see your noteheads not touching in thirds. That is not rule per se, but too small noteheads appear d...

Re: Opposing Seconds with dots
I just saw some work done in Sibelius with the same issue: don't know if it's a default. Finale seems to do this, too, Screenshot.png which possibly looks like a staccato dot. But this is possible when the upper voice is on the staff line. Would be more difficult to do as in your original example.

Re: Attribution and Use of Sources
Once something enters the public domain and is showed upon us through the "benevolent grace" of a library or any other institution, it remains in the public domain for all eternity. While the manuscript itself is PD, their picture can be used as "non PD". You can take a photo of ...

Re: Spacing problem
Also, from what I can observe (possibly due to the browser's antialiasing), the note-heads appear to intersect with the staff lines. Ideally, the terminal points should align with the middle of the staff lines or at least coincide with the outer boundaries of the staff lines. I've noticed these &quo...
