To my eye, the original Roman and Italic could do with closing up a little.

And the font is installed in your system? Does it show in other apps? (The font is Finale-compatible, too.)

I've reinstalled it here, and it seems fine. You may need to clear your font cache.

The python scripts don't work for me on FontLab 7: are you running them on FL5?

Works here. What platform are you on? Have you restarted Dorico? You may even have to restart on Windows, I believe.

What app are you using to make the fonts, and the metadata.json file?

OK, I think I've brought this font to some kind of working order. There are now 828 glyphs, so enough to cope with a range of music. I'd say the essential character of the font is for clear numerals and alphabet-based symbols: dynamics, C, etc. It's not as heavy as Bravura, but not as washed out as ...

With one simple command in FontLab, I've made Bold and Bold Italic weights of Nepomuk. Some manual kerning is probably in order, but it's a good start.

None of these apps are doing something you don't want, while many of notation software does exactly that, what you don't want, or what is incorrect. These are Dorico's relevant defaults. (There may be others...!) I suspect that the first bar or so of Clarinet has been manually adjusted.
