With two voices, I would never interpret that as a staccato (since it should always be pushed outside to the stem), but someone might. That’s a tough one. Might be best to push the dot just a hair to the right to give it that extra clarity without moving it too far from the notehead it goes with.

But this is possible when the upper voice is on the staff line. Would be more difficult to do as in your original example.
