Questions about chant

Folks, I'm working on a font for inputting chant in Dorico (I'm sure it would work in Sibelius as well). Here's a sample:

My question: are all the neumes basically the same size? It seems some of these are different, unless I'm doing something wrong.

Should these all be the same? Should I shrink the torcula?
