What's up with the different format?
Sometimes I bring up a post and instead of the normal Notat.io page, the post appears in a different format on a white background. I don't understand why. For example, on the second page of Ben's thread on the Henle facsimile "from Plate to Page etc" the new post comes up in this new format and without the poster specified. Very confusing.

Hey, John! Can you post some screenshots of your strange looking Notatio pages?

I will next time it happens. I posted about it under thread "From Plate to..." where it happened again. But now it isn't doing it anymore as described in that post.

Here's the way it looks. It only happens on Safari.

Probably just a CSS cache error at your end. (CSS is the instructions for styling and formatting text.) It might clear up if you turn the computer off and on.
Re: What's up with the different format?
Maybe it is done by the "speed reader" setting in the browser. Or at least it looks to me so.

Thank you OCTO! That was the answer I was looking for. View>Show Reader is being activated for some reason without my asking for it.Never even knew this existed and don't want it. Now to figure out how to permanently deactivate it.
