Deceased members

Post by Magnus Johansson »

Greetings, all! I think Notatio should have a list of deceased members in addition to the one now that should contain only living members.

Yes, for some we know they are deceased. But many will be and we cannot verify all.
Why?

So what are your opinion about my suggestion?

An alternative would be to mark deceased members in the current member list and rename it to "Members -- past and present".

We can definitely create a new member group called "deceased".

Sometimes I wonder what will happen if something happens to me, and the whole site then goes offline. Maybe a backup option would be good to have: a few trusted persons with the full access to the database and the domain. Or just build a society that would be run by several persons, owing the domain.

Yes, I think you should see to that a few persons close to you have access to the domain.
