@John Ruggero , you've had some of your wishes granted in this release. Shortcuts for Playing Techniques was something you'd asked for, wasn't it?
I agree with you benwiggy! Nonetheless, I know sooner or later somebody is going to look at an invoice, see the proofreading hours, and say, “I heard Dorico does that automatically. Why do we have to pay for a proofreader?” Either that or I’ll mention the importance and value of proofreading to some composers, and someone will eagerly try to tell me that the new Dorico now proofreads for you!benwiggy wrote: ↑01 May 2025, 07:57 Of course, Dorico's proofing doesn't (and can't ) check for "wrong" notes, or missing slurs. Because it's available on Elements and SE, I do think it's going to be a massive help to 'novice' engravers. And hopefully "guide composers in their notation choices"...![]()
