It's another Dorico update.
https://blog.dorico.com/2024/07/dorico- ... available/
Mostly bug fixes, including one for projects with more than 100 flows, which is really helpful for me. But lots of little improvements across the board.
Something for
@John Ruggero, I think -- a new option for slurs crossing sharps.
Most crucially, hairpins now won't disappear if there's not enough space.

Thanks, benwiggy. That is great news. And the "lots of little improvements across the board" is always intriguing. Sometimes one stumbles over these nice little surprises as one works.
I am hoping that Dorico 6 will bring big improvements to Playing Techniques organization and the Playing Techniques editing window, which are the biggest issues for me at this point.

I'm hoping they finally get glissando lines across page turns fixed.
(if a glissando starts in the lower staff of a harp part, but ends on the next page in the upper staff, the last section of the gliss line, the part on the next page, does not show)

Thank you. They were made earlier in the year, simply for encouraging crossgrading. Hence the "Why would you want to switch from Finale?", which has now become pointedly ironic....
Also, from the count of views, not everyone made it through all four of them...

I have to admit that I cried when I saw how simple it was to notate the following and how beautifully Dorico rendered it:
