Hello all

I'm having trouble engraving a measure (treble clef) with 4 separate voices in it.

Beat 1 vertical alignment doesn't look right to me.

Also, I was wondering if i could stem the lower two voices together, beats 3 and 4?
Ideas?

(this is lute music arranged for guitar, BTW)

Yes, but there is a bit of voice-crossing and voices dropping in / out. It isn't a pure "SATB" choral piece...it was originally for lute.

You could move the half note to the left a little so it is a bit more over the whole note; otherwise I think that this is the best one can do. And I would go with the first way, in which the voice leading is completely clear.
