The overall design is inspired from some old classical piano books I've on my library since I was 10 years old. I hope you like my new design.

Nice fonts, I would definitely not use the light version. Nothing light and thin is so good for music reading.
The font reminds me of something already available, Susato or what it is called...?

Hi Octo,

Glad you like the fonts. Da Capo has nothing to do with any another music font, I usually make fonts by re-tracing from my old music books and scores I used to practice with. I also draw my designs by hand in Adobe Illustrator then import into FL7. As you know, all the engraver music fonts -especially- may look the same but they not, the curves change from one glyph to another, very subtle changes that make changes of te overall look.... What you saw in the pdf link above was done from scratch like the same way I did with Tutti, Soli and Scordatura. As I said, I all the time got inspired from my old music books and scores I've here since the 70's and 80's.

I agree with OCTO - the standard version looks great, but the light version is much too thin and looks unbalanced on the page.

Thanks for your feedback. Well, as you know, choosing between a light or standard version is kind of one's or publisher's taste. It was intentional to make two versions, because the basic font was Da Capo Light, then I developed a standard version which is a little dilatation of D.C.Light.
