I have seen that Dorico features a new font called Splentino, by our forum member benwiggy!

Thanks for that.

It's a variation on the fine traditional font Plantin, and it's very well done. Thanks Ben.

You may be interested in this little article I've written about the creation of the typeface.

Hi Ben,
do you know how to get the ordinals to work with Splentino? When I activate them in the Paragraph Styles dialog, the 'st', 'nd', 'rd', 'th' do not react and stay on the baseline.
Thanks!

I haven't done superscript or subscript. There are the masculine and feminine º ª characters, but that's it.

Ah ok, no problem.
What is the "ordinals" OpenType feature doing then when activated?

It's automatically generated by FontLab:

Code: Select all

sub [zero one two three four five six seven eight nine] [A a]' by ordfeminine;
 sub [zero one two three four five six seven eight nine] [O o]' by ordmasculine;

Yes, thanks for Splentino, Ben. Didn't know you created it. I'm using it in some of my templates.
